Okay today is my gripe day and I am going to lay it thick. I am so frustrated with Healthcare in America that it pains me (literally). I have been employed with the same employer for the past 5 years. I have not had healthcare the entire duration of my employment. Yes, they do offer it but based on my salary I could not afford to have health coverage and live. A family package runs around $300 a month that is 1/3 of my monthly income. How CRAZY is that? I am a hard working middleclass citizen who is trying my hardest to help support my family, but America is making it hard. So I sit here with several medical ailments debating whether to just ride it out or go to the ER and get treatment. I grew up in a military home where healthcare was just a call away. I really miss that. So what do I do? I heard about the Michael Moore movie that talks about healthcare in America and I just wish that more emphasis would be placed on that . It seems like America only wants to help to poor & the rich, but what about us in between??????????????
