So I thought I'd get in a quick blog entry before leaving work for the day!
Last night we did a track workout. We did a 10 X 400 meter relay. However, since I just ran my long run Monday night, they took it easy on me, I only had to do 6. Regardless, I was EXHAUSTED. My muscles reached complete exhaustion and the run back to the gym from the track was grueling. I was quite pleased, however, that my entire run wasn't grueling. The first mile, on the way to the track, was awful. I was so sore from my long run on Monday, but after that it just flew by! The track workout went really well. Overall, I had a great night!
Tonight I am gonna take it easy, do some pilates and lift some weights. And OF COURSE, sit in the hot tub...ahhhh. I love hot tub days. I never go in them after my runs cuz I am too hot to contemplate going into a hot tub!
Ok, so I have a couple things to finish up at work so I am gonna jet. Tomorrow we're running grass intervals! I'll let you know how that goes!
