Off the top, I thought I was going to die once while choking. I can't say, "I almost choked to death", but I was alone, and kinda grey-looking. And, it freaked me out.

If you want to blog for yourself and yourself alone, and don't want to hear others' comments, why not block comments? If you can't, write a diary and keep it private.
If you blog, expect that MANY will not agree with you - no matter what your opinion. If you can't stand that, then don't...
