This is not racist and meant to be offensive......I have a lot of Muslim friends....and one of my muslim friends asked me...."Why do others hate Muslims so much?" I said.....Nobody hates Muslims....maybe they are afraid....Islamphobia.....If you see the major terrorist attacks all over the world...its has muslims involved in it...but not all muslims are bad...majority are good...and media is mostly responsible for this...they give us a fearful account of how life is in Muslim countries...I have been to many muslim countries...and its nothing like that...the arabs are friendly people!!! but then...when you see from a westerners point of view..they have a right to be afraid....because many of them might have lost a brother,sister,father,mother or anybody in a terrorist attack...so its natural fear is there...When I travelled in flights after September 11,most of the white folks use to look at me with suspicion....first I use to get irritated,but then,its right ( By the way...I am from India and I am a hindu) But what I would like to convey is...not all muslims are terrorists, many of them are better than you think!!! |

Yes, I totally agree. I'm Indian too, and my parent are Hindu. I'm not a big fan of grouping people by religion either, because I mean...not every middle eastern person is Muslim and like, a not many are islamic fundamentalists either. People have this very narrow outlook on anyone from Asia because of cultural differences in the west. During World War II, The US looked at the Japanese in the same way, and many people who weren't even Japanese and had similar characteristics were persecuted as well. And not all Japanese people were involved in the opposition either. Perhaps in the future, we all will learn to accept each other and terrorism will be at a low, finally. :)
