Let me introduce myself.  My name is Jess, and that's probably the only real name you'll read in my blog (if you choose to read it).  It's not that i particualy want to be dishonest, it's just that i want to protect the innocent.  So names will be changed.  If you couldn't tell from my username, i'm a Christian.  And i'm not exactly your average girl.  But you'll find out more about that later.

My church is great and i love it, but sometimes it makes me feel stretched.  And i have a job at a financial institution that i love, but it causes me a bit of stress.  I think real beauty is on the inside, but i won't walk out without makeup, and i exercise regularly.  As much as i try not to care what other people think, i'm something of a perfectionist and wonder about how other people view me.  Do the contraditions make your head spin?  Think how i feel...and that's only the tip of the iceberg i call my life.

And i always have one thing or another that i currently love, and one thing or another that drives me insane.  Right now, i love Stephen Colbert and his book I Am American (and So Can You).  My current annoyance:  Children in political commericals saying which type of candidate who would receive their vote (if they were old enough of course).  Children 8-12 are obviously fed these lines.  Must we put them in commercials.

Well, that's me.  More will come later because it's nearly midnight on the east coast.  It's been quite a long day for me, and i'm an early to bed early to rise sort.
