| One Moment Lasts a Lifetime

To have a heart attack is no small thing, so it was very surprising that Elf got up and had the strength to call me las night, if only for a moment. He had enough time to say "I love you with all that I am, always" and then he had to hang up because his mother was soon to be back. He risked causing hell with her again, even in his condition, just to speak with me for a moment. Goodness, how much that meant to me! A simple thing like that is so major to me. It makes my heart burst and I just want to shout out to the world!
How foolish I must sound, like a giddy little school girl or something. I have just never felt anything like this and it is so strange to me! I sing out loud and I smile more. There's nothing that I couldnt do, the way I feel! I want to jump up and scream out to the world that I am so in love with him that I would face a thousand demons, and devils and montrous creatures beyond fathomable nature just to protect him and hold him close to me! He's even in my dreams every night. He text messages me every morning and tells me he's dreampt about me. Then he describes MY dream! We meet there and we spend the night together. It's quite strange and a phenomenon for sure! Every dream ends in the same way, we're laying down and holding one another close whispering to each other and drifting off to sleep... then I wake up and look beside me, only to find him absent from me. But just for a moment, it was as though he was there, and holding me close, like to people in love truely do. That moment lasts a lifetime. That ONE moment last forever, and the longing in my heart grows stronger still.....

A beautiful post and very true...made me think about my relationship as we have shared the same dream many nights...I believe it happens when we find the other half of ourselves...our soulmate. I'm so happy for you, cause I know how wonderful it feels to be in this kind of love xxx
