Freedom of speech stripped from churches.
Let me first start out by saying that personally I am a fan of freedom, freedom of thought, religion, property and political affiliation. That means that I am against nearly all government regulation. But do any of you know just how much regulation there is, even within your own church?
When the media fails to report on something does not mean that it does not exist. There are laws that are now in place that has destroyed the freedom of speech even within our churches. If a politician goes to your church, you can not support him. If you are asked about pro life as a pastor you can not answer. Doing so will impose heavy taxes where the government will thrive and the charity that you support will suffer.
Of course if you attend a liberal church there is nothing to worry about, you can support Obama and abortion all you like. Yes this regulation is strictly enforced to conservative churches. Please wake up, your freedoms are being stripped away and you wont even notice it until its too late. Very soon you will see your church being forced to recognize evolution as a fact even though there is no evidence to support it. G-d bless.

really?

as I see it upon a cursory glance of your lack of facts I'm inclined to say....

Bad conservative! Bad bad! Now go to your corner and think about what you did!

...but instead I tried to find something on my own that would support your claims (granted I chose NOT to view Fox News) and turned up ziltch. But it was fun surfing the web for a few minutes...

Hmmm...interesting to say the least (and I stress the least part of it). I'm a "bad conservative" (laughs hysterically) however I'm pretty sure I've heard my pastor more than once discuss politics along side his religion and as far as I can tell from the look of our church books...he's not paying any fines for doing so.

I'm all for advancing the conservative point of view (with some notable exceptions) however I, personally, like to do it with some intelligence :)

It started up a few years ago, once someone hears a political view being made in a church they can ask the government to launch an investigation. The church just has to make sure they don't do it in front of unfamiliar faces. What really makes me nervous about this is after they allow gay marriage they are going to threaten churches who refuse to wed a gay couple because they are taking a political stance.
