Security Going Too Far??

When I first heard about this, it was on the Swedish news here. I have to say I was absolutely shocked. I know that everyone is screaming terrorism and so on, and I know places (not the U.S.) that have been hit. I'm not going to get into a political debate, or want to discuss the security of the U.S., I don't really care. I have my opinions on what is wrong with the U.S., and lets just say, I'm not conservative.

But what has me here, is where does privacy begin and end? Is there privacy left anymore? Phone taping and now this, and all in the name of "National Security!?" I kind of think that its getting a little out of hand. Why in the hell would they need to see your organs? Your breasts, vagina's and penises? What does that have to do with terrorism? Are they gonna scan children and babies? Have they given any thought to those people who were victims of incest or rape? Did they think on how this will affect them?

When I saw this, my heart starting beating a mile a minute, my stomach began to turn, and I began to sweat profusely. I felt like crying, I felt panicky. I thought of having to go through this scanner and having my body exposed, against my will. Feeling the humiliation and degradation. Feeling the same feelings I did when I was raped, when I was a victim of incest. I am a native and NO not part native and part European! I'm full native and my tribe is Pima...my people have been there long before white men ever walked those lands, America was my home long before it was called America.....and now....now....now I don't feel like I can ever go home. Did they ever think of that? Did they ever think of the thousands of other victims like myself? Or where they just too damn busy trying to prove something to the rest of the world??!!
