I think you have something here. We most certainly do literally give off a distinctive scent under different conditions.
Perhaps being partnered, and being alone we give off these scents which can attract certain people, but not others.

Yes Mate, I've been there too. Great isn't it? You breed these things in a spare moment. Sweat your heart out for them, and suddenly you look round and they are quite servisable, trustworthy people - and some of it is our doing too.

I agree with you, autumn is a wonderful time of year. the colours of the trees and the heathers are so veried out here on the moors.
Please enjoy these days and don't feel guilty; the seazons are here to enjoy - other things have their own time.
