Here in Jordan .. long ago some people were given names of their trade..and by time.. the family these people make was then known under that name... like the family name would be carpenter, or even.... in some cases.. I have heard of 'begger' or the names of bugs too..... there is even a market in old downtown called the Thieves Market. hahahahahaaa

in a state of war... power goes out.... and people have to survive living with no electricity in the cold of nights... or the heat of day which in some cities goes up to 50 degres C.
we take many things for granted....
even our ability to walk and talk without assistance..... Ever seen the movie "Awakenings" ? real story.... everyone should definetly see it...
seeeeeeeeeeeeeeee it!
sometimes you have to witness some loss... to maybe wake up to what you have ... and what you keep taking for granted.... maybe that is why loss occurs in life.. so people can wake up...

its funny though... looking at my body.. from up here.. .. up here where my eyeballs are... from this angle... it doesnt look that bad....
my legs dont look too fat... and my hands dont look that bad either...
but when you look in the mirror.. the angle is different... and you see horrible things... especially in that bloody shop at the mall.. their changing room is eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevil... eeeeeeeeeeevil I tells ya....
if everybody could see my body from my eyeballs... no mirrors or cameras.... then the world would be a happier place :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Hmmm well I totally relate to this image thingi you are talking about....I was shocked when they took a few pictures at work....I was like OH MY GOD.. I LOOK TERRIBLE...and theeeeeeeeeeeeen... you get the MOST HORRIBLE response ever....

yes hopefully very soon, there will light ... we all go through this stuff.. like a rollercoaster.... in one way or another , everyone will go thru it....such is life...
When I finally get some light and a break... I wonder, hmm why did I go all depressed and upset ??? :P
I should try to be more patient next time.. and next time comes.. and I do the same thing.. hahahahahaa....
This time... I can easily fall into it again.... but i am trying not to... I am trying to FORCE myself to think positive... and its not easy...especailly with negative stuff so much around me... but I have to try...
I see in papers all teh time... photos of those who are caught in war zones... lost their houses, lost their loved ones.. lost their jobs.... many are sitting on the rubbles which used to be their homes.... many are in hospitals... and have lost so much....and are alone...
I try not to click it away, as I can click away a news station, because i want to see happy things on TV.... and not be reminded of the horrors that are happening to others...
I force myself to see... to listen...
it keeps things in perspective for me...
I dont know if any of this will help you.... I dont know how much has happened in your life..... i know its easy for me to SAY this.... but maybe it will help you... that is why i post it....
You are still ok my dear....
you have your loved ones...
you have a roof over your head...
you have food and shelter...
you have safety....
you have a computer and communication...
you can lock your door and feel safe...
yes you are smoking.. but that is still ok :)
its because of stress.... you did NOT fail.... your body needed it when you had to handle stress....this is a special circumstance... when things quiet down... you can go back to trying again,... because you know you CAN.. you have done it before and it worked for a while, until things got hard for you...
so its ok.. dont think of it as a failure.... NOT AT ALL... this is a temporary thing... dont over think it... sometimes we have to roll with the punches ?.. as they say....

I think it is also very true.... everyone we meet is also on loan to us...and we are on loan to them....
and unfortunelty one day we have to drift apart...
I have not known many who have kept in touch over the years... family members are having a hard time keeping in touch as it is...
its funny how the ones you really love... or want around you.. are the ones who dont stay... and you are left with teh ones you dont want so much... or at all...
sorry... depressing ideas just jumped in my head.. haha...
back to your topic..
I think we celebrate mother day in Jordan in March.... although one should not really need it to be nice to their mother ...
I dont haev my mother anymore... but I have my aunt... and althought she drives me nuts many times... there are times I sit there and look at her... and try to take it all in... because i know it wont last ... and i will have to say goodbye one day....
I do try.. I really do... but sometimes it doesnt feel like it is enough....how can you package happiness in a box and give it to people?... wish I could...I really do... but it doesnt work that way...
