I guess I'm in a paranormal mood...
Yep, I was watching Ghost Hunters and thinking about what happened in my earlier blog post, so I decided to come talk about ghosts and stuff.

In case you haven't noticed, I'm facinated by the paranormal. Me and my boyfriend started talking about it earlier, and he pretty much has completely different views on it than I do. His way of thinking is "I'll believe it when I see it". I'd probably be the same way if I didn't have close family members that I trust telling me about some weird experiences they've had.

So, here comes another long post. Read it if you're bored, I guess.

There's only been like one time that something's happened to me that made me think it might be slightly paranormal, but I'm not sure. I'm not going to call it that because I honestly don't know.

Me and my boyfriend were driving home from the store one night, and we were going to his mom and dad's house. The place they live is pretty much notorious in this town for having a bunch of weird things happen. So, we're driving home, and I was messing with the radio when my boyfriend says "what the hell is that?". When I look up, I see something grey-ish/white running across the road. It's already almost across when I see it, but it kind of had the shape of a person, but it seemed like it was kind of hunched over. It went across really fast, but I could have swore it had a leg like a person's.

I told my grandma about this (she's into the paranormal, too), since she lives around that area and her family has for like generations. She said her ex husband was living up there and one night he was outside partying with his friends when they saw something a lot like I saw run across the road to the cemetary.

She also said that her new husband's son was driving through there one night and he looked up and someone was standing in the middle of the road. He could tell it was a person, but they were just like black. He couldn't make out clothes or features or anything. But it was dark, so he slammed on the breaks. He didn't stop in time, though, and he got out of the car sure that he'd hit someone. He looked under the car and everywhere around there and didn't see anything.

And like I said before, my grandma lives in that area, and she's had some weird experiences at her house, too.

The place she lives at used to have an old house there, but it was torn down and her house is there now. The people that lived in the house that used to be there were murdered (it was like centuries ago, though). So, one day my grandma was sitting in her living room watching tv. In front of the couch is a screen door leading to her porch. She kept seeing something white coming up and down the steps, but it was her dog so she ignored it. Then later, she saw something white coming up the steps again out of the corner of her eye. When she looked up, she saw a woman wearing an old-fashioned dress walk up and look through the screen door. My grandma ran into the bathroom and locked the door until her husband got home.

Another time she was eating breakfast and her husband was in the bathroom at the other end of the house taking a shower. She heard someone whisper her name. She assumed it was him, so she asked what he wanted. The voice said "Come here, come here". So, she got up and walked to the bathroom her husband was showering in. She asked what he wanted and he said he didn't know what she was talking about (he wouldn't lie about this, either).

One more story and I'm done:

This one's a little bit different, I guess. Most people I tell this to think "UFO".

It was night and her husband was out of town for the weekend. She was in the living room again watching tv, when all of a sudden a big, bright light shone into her living room. Her puppy ran to the door, looked up, and started wagging her tail. My grandma assumed it was a helicopter or something, because she lives out in the middle of nowhere, pretty much. But when she got up to look, the light was gone. She walked outside and didn't see anything or hear anything.

I'm not asking you to believe this, either. If you don't like reading stuff like this, you might as well not read my blog anymore, cause I talk about this stuff a lot. But if you do believe me, feel free to tell me what you think or share your own stories.
