Well, all's well on the western front. LOL
I'm still stable and normal. I'm feeling good though I still hate it getting dark so damn early. I'm sure I'm not the only one with that hatred.
Work was good today. I got to play with some SQL and our SQL server database. Not everyday I get to play those games so I was a bit rusty on the SQL and had to look it up. Imagine that. I used to be practically an expert in SQL but it's been years. Besides I wasn't sure if the syntax was the same between the 2 platforms I was used to using and Microsoft's SQL server. Turns out it was but better to be safe then sorry.
Other then that work was the same old boring stuff, build these tags, modify those tags, the same old stuff I do day in and day out. I could do it in my sleep that's how repetitive it is.
Now I'm sitting home bored out of my skull. I was playing with my 2 younger grandkids but you can only do so much for so long with a 2 year old and a 1 year old. We wrestled for a bit, I tickled them, they tickled me, I stole their pens and paper, they cried. You know, normal stuff for kids that age. They're a ball of fun to play with. Now they're eating and getting ready to go home. I'll miss them when they're gone.
My wife was off today and she's off the rest of the week. Lucky dog. She has nothing planned so I tried to talk her into taking my car and getting me some tires. Not much chance of that happening though so I'll probably have to go Friday if I can.
Hey, Corzine lost the election for Governor of NJ! Imagine that! I think this is the first time in years that party's lost! I am SO glad to see that snake out of office. He's been the worst governor we've had in years. Not saying his replacement will be any better. I firmly believe that anyone who wants to be a politician is someone I don't want to vote for. I also believe in electing a whole new slate each election. Out with the old and in with the new. That'll sure put a hold on some graft won't it? They won't have time to get comfortable enough to start ripping off the public. Yessirree, out with the old and in with the new, each and every election. Especially those Senators and Congressmen. How is it they can be in office for life when the president only gets 2 terms? That's a disgrace. We need a constitutional amendment to put an end to that. Either that or everyone start voting like I said - out with the old and in with the new.
Enough of politics. Indeed enough of this post. It's gotten too wordy by far. I just wanted to say I'm doing well and hope to continue to do so. According to my wife I even look better. Amazing how she can always tell by looking at me whether I'm depressed, manic, or just doing well. She says it's in my eyes.
