Yesterday, I went to Cedar Point with my family. The night before, I had made a frozen banana coated in chocolate sauce, peanut butter, and corn flakes. It was delicious. I suspect I will make more soon.
Cedar Point was not nearly as fun without my Taki-chan though. Fuck it. I think I’m growing an infatuation with her.
We went on the cedar creek ride as the first roller coaster. It was alright, though not that exciting.
Next, my little little sister (She’s fun cuz she’s brave), wanted to go on the witch’s wheel, but she was too short D:.
Then, I took both my sisters on the Iron Dragon. We discovered there were small fish and big fish and catfish in the lake under it. They loved the ride! Front seat. We went twice :3.
Finally, my sister (the older little sister) and I went on the raptor! It was a long wait. In the line, this little boy and I kept \m/-ing each other. O_o…I don’t know why. Maybe we were just too bored.
Finally, we got to go on it. My main concern was that I would be scared of the height, but it was so fast I could barely see. Being upside down was AWESOME. The ride was amazing and completely worth the wait! While on the Raptor, I kept laughing.
Then we went to eat lunch. After that, we went back and rode the cedar creek again. It was kind of pathetic now compared to the raptor. I saw baby ducks on the lake.
I also rode the witches wheel and realized why my sister had to be taller. There was no seat belt and at certain points, the strongest force pushes one towards the end of the long seat. If one’s legs weren’t long enough to support oneself, you’d get smooshed there.
I also went on the monster. After that, I felt kind of like throwing up, especially since I had just had lunch. I considered the swing ride, and decided not to…
Then everyone else went on all the wet rides. I didn’t, because it was windy and cold sometimes, and although I like swimming, I dislike wearing wet clothes. I had a headache.
I also rode the monster a second time with my little little sister. My dad seems to call at the worst times. He called right when that ride was coming to a stop (so we were still on it), and also when I was on the Dragon for the fourth (fifth?) time with my sisters. That is probably our favorite ride in the park. On one of the times we rode it, though, it stopped in the middle of the ride. That was somewhat worrisome.
…I do have a brother by the way…but he is wimpy D:…a little bit sad…
My sister and I figured out that we probably got our money’s woth just on the roller coasters alone, based on the estimate that a ride on the dragon was $5, and Raptor, $10.
Then we all rode the train, where I’ve written most of this. Now I’m about to get off.
Finally, my little little sister and I went on the blue streak. It was the first roller coaster my dad ever rode. He hated them after that…and I thought I knew why. Upon riding it, my theory was confirmed. The blue streak was much like the first big roller coaster I ever rode – wooden, and awful. Smooth roller coasters I like, but the ones that knock you around and throw you about I dislike. I was biting my lip as hard as I could and thinking ‘ohh fuck…ohh fuck…ohh fuck…’ for most of the ride.
We went to go find a fast food restaurant for dinner. We did kind of fast-food-restaurant-hopping.
We first stopped at McDonalds to get a sweet tea for my dad. While we were there, there was a horrible fake anime playing on a TV in the kiddie area. My sister and I moaned and groaned about how horrible the animation was. This random guy agreed with us. That was awesome.
Then my little little sister really wanted a burrito, so we stopped at Taco bell to get one.
We ended up at Burger King where I had a rodeo cheeseburger and a sundae pie! I have wanted to eat a slice for years, ever since they came out. Now, I finally have. And I can honestly say it was delicious.
I rode the Raptor, ate a Sundae pie…I feel it was a day of accomplishments ^_~…
A couple other notes…
There are many mayflies here.
There was a girl wearing a Muslim headcloth but it looked really cool the way she did it. She wore a black one, but had a red one on underneath that had silver studs.
The foreign workers at Cedar Point have their countries on their name tags. I wonder why. It seems weird to me.
I kind of wish the bathrooms had toilets like the ones in China that are a hole or a trench in the ground. They’d be better to pee in.
I discovered I look kind of like Hyde from L’arc~en~ciel, probably because I don’t really look like a proper Asian either…
