This is probably the most enjoyable activity on a wiki.... not.
If you foolishly agreed to become an administrator on a wiki because you felt this would better the world, you are in for a major shock. Being an administrator is basically about being seen as Mr Kick-Butt, Madam Clean-It-All-Up and Master I'm-The-Token-Youngest-Admin-Around-Here.
You will all then reassure one another by never keeping in contact with each other. Except at the exciting period known as election of new administrators but that is a whole other story.
Ever wondered why the word is "Administrator"? You will be told you are not a boss, not a manager, not a person in power. Yet you will be expected to be these things anyway without making it obvious. But the word itself connotes authority of a bossy nature. Why not "Motivators", "Team Enthusers" or "Responsible Person #1"? Administrator sounds so Mandarin.
