This is my first post here, so I suppose I should say hello to everyone. Hello everyone! I kind of suck at boring introductions, and I assume you guys read a buttload of these all the time right? How can I make mine more interesting? Let's see....my name isn't really Thorne but it sounds pretty cool. Maybe I'll name my first child that someday? Probably not. I just got married about a month ago and I'm not sure if my wife would agree to that name....
So far, married life is pretty awesome. It's actually not a whole lot different than unmarried life was. Except now I have a ring. And someone I call my wife instead of my girlfriend. But as you might have gathered, we have no kids as of yet. And it'll probably stay that way for awhile. We've got cats instead. And they're about all the responsibility we can handle right now.
More about me....well, I'm a little crazy. Not in a scary way. Hopefully in a fun way. And sometimes in a downright depressing way. I figured I might as well throw that out there straight off. I won't pretend I'm a perfectly well adjusted guy who has no problems whatsoever. If I didn't have issues, I probably would have nothing to blog about. Which incidentally, this is not my first venture into blogging. I've been doing this regularly for quite some time at a different website. But it's time for a change I think. Plus a friend of mine urged me to check this place out, so here I am.
In addition to being slightly off balance, I hope that I'm funny. I've been told I'm funny. So either people tell me that to placate the crazy depressed guy, or it's actually true. I suppose time will tell and you can be the judge of that. I also have a tendency to talk about my haunted house a lot. And no, I swear that's not the product of the craziness. It's real. Or at least I think it's real. My wife seems to believe it too. I've got some good stories about that I can share later.
So that's me in a very small nutshell. Hopefully someone out there will read this and possibly find me interesting enough to keep reading. I look forward to checking this place out and trying to find my way around. I'm a little lost right now, so be patient if I seem clueless for awhile. Thanks!

Hey there friend! I'm sorry everyone ignored you :( But I'm here to liven this post up now! Maybe if we put some nudity or violence in people will flock here! I have to say your title was a bit plain, not catching so that might be your problem. Now if you blogged about cat hair cookies that might bring in the readers! You have some very good serious posts too so I'm thinking you should do a mixture. You know, show both sides of yourself? People will grow to love you, it's inevitable! Hope you get more readers on your next post!

My title is boring? Well shit. See titles are not my strong suit. Especially for an introduction. What do you say? *sigh* Hopefully someone will notice me someday. I am pretty good about writing funny stuff, but I'm also miserably sad sometimes too. I hope to show both sides of myself here. But you might be the only one reading it! But that's okay :-)

you should check out ellie's site, the woman who said hi on my post. I love her blog. She cracks me up! You'll get more readers, you really are a talented writer and that counts, I'll help you with your titles. You can always edit and change them. You could go back and title this "Welcome me damn it!" lol! See ya later alligator.

I tried to check out that Ellie person's blog. I clicked on her name and it said it was private. So how do you even read blogs here?? I'm so confused. If I can't get to people's blogs who comment, then how do you make friends? :-( I might need to make a post asking people how the hell to figure this place out....

ummm...what I did was search her name and some blogs come up...then you can manuver from there...but I just usually click on recent post, see if there is anything I like and comment to those people...the problem is finding your way back there to see if they commented back...so remember to bookmark it...which is a little clicky thing on the upper right somewhere on the page where you read it....it's confusing to me too...sorry I'm not much help :(

Hello Thorne, I am an old Southern Californian. Congratulations on your marrige, hope you your wife and your cats are safe in your haunted house. I have restored several old houses,finding interesting things in the walls sometimes they do go BUMP in the night.
