The dead also speak... Are you listening..... Today let the dead Abel speaks to us....
Caused of death - killed by his brother Cain
Gen 4:8 And Cain talked with his brother Abel. And it happened when they were in the field, Cain rose up against his brother Abel and killed him.
Abel died on page 4 of the bible without leaving any record of word s spoken by him. But in page 1262 (3,0 years later) says that Abel is still speaking! and we are reading about Abel 2,00 more years later...
Heb 11:4 It was faith that made Abel offer to God a better sacrifice than Cain's. Through his faith he won God's approval as a righteous man, because God himself approved of his gifts. By means of his faith Abel still speaks, even though he is dead.

Abel offer the best:
Gen 4:4 Then Abel brought the first lamb born to one of his sheep, killed it, and gave the best parts of it as an offering. The LORD was pleased with Abel and his offering,
God thought Abel was worth mentioning in the Bible. Abel brought the best of his sheep as an offering to God. It was generous. It was excellent. His brother Cain also brought an offering. too.
It was something from the soil. Maybe it was some fruits or vegetables. But his heart was not in it. it was just some old offering. Abel's offering make Cain look bad. So Cain killed his brother Abel.
Abel 's death does not seem fair. Abel was a good guy. But in case you have not noticed, sometimes bad guys kill the good guys. In the end, how Abel lived was more important than how Abel died. And Abel lived excellently.
Do you have a test coming up? Do your best. Are you cleaning your room tomorrow? Do your best. Do you have a part in the school play? Do your best. Bring an offering to God in worship? Do your best.
What ever you do, give your best to God.
Abel is still speaking by his actions, thousands of years after his death: "Do your best. Do your best."
Can you hear him? Listen to Abel . And live on.
