| I lost my best friend |
I never would have thought we could be best friends
I never would have known I could depend on you
I never could have saw it would end so soon
The strong bond between us now remains in the past.
You were always there for me as long as I needed you.
I did not realized that I had depended on you so much
You are lost in love with someone who thought it could never be.
I guess along the way you love me too much and believe in me
Now the person I thought you were has left my sight...
I tried so hard to keep us strong, I held with all my might.
When I finally realize that I could no longer hold you,
you encourage me to bounce back and moves on.
You let me walk out of your life though you did not really want to
I think inside you had convinced yourself, that it is time to let go
Life seem unfair to you, cancer seem to have overpower you.
We always used to laugh it off; when death will call us apart.
Months ago here I am, saying goodbye.
I gave it my all, I had to try,
and though I'm still around and will never see you again
soon you'll see... I have lost my best friend.
Not matter how hard I try
When one reach life final destination at the appointed time
Even great love have to give way for parting to begin.
Till then, my best friend, I will see you again when my time is up.
