 Oprah and the Fairness Doctrine
Well, well, well - so much for Oprah being fair to her viewing public.  Oprah has indicated that Sarah Palin is persona non grata on her show - that is until after the election.  Oprah has made her political leanings clear and is supportive of the junior senator from Illinois; but, is it fair to her viewing audience that she will not interview Palin?  Is Oprah afraid that the interview will hurt her candidate?  I think it is very clear that the left wing is concerned and afraid of Sarah Palin.  Oprah's left wing liberal views don't go a long way in being very democractic with who she airs on her show.  Basically, if you don't agree with my views and have a chance of hurting my candidate you aren't allowed on.

I predict that this may actually help Palin,  there are many following this story and waiting to see how it plays out.  If Oprah maintains her stance, it is very likely that the viewing public will want to know what Oprah is trying to hide.  What dirty little secrets about her candidate's inexperience or radical leanings may be revealed?  The backlash is coming.

she is not hiding anything, please she is a democrat that's all. what about the stupid FOX channel they talk shit about obama constantly so one of them was even fired for making racism and hateful comments about obama and his wife. so she has a reason just like your racism talk show hosts and FOX.

You are very silly thisandthat why would oprah invite the republican vice presidential nominee on her show after endorsing obama. She obviously has already stated that after the race is over she will possibly have palin on her show.In all honesty I think that is fair. Did you even think on your own before posting this blog? Or are you already a brainwashed and mind numbed Rush Limbaugh listener.

What law says that Oprah has to turn her show into a political platform? Have you not understood, she has not had ANY political candidates on her program (since the candidates for president have been announced), and won't. She has every right to decide who will and who won't be invited to her program, even if that means she is offering an advantage to one party over the other ... it is HER SHOW. How is that unfair? Do we as American citizens not have the freedom to choose a candidate and stand behind said party in an election? You are showing your preference here for McCain, is that fair? Oprah has a right to be a democrat, and she has a right to tell others who she is voting for. There is no bias in not allowing ANY (that INCLUDES Obama, Biden and even Clinton) political candidate on the show while they are running for office.

If you knew what you were talking about, you would know Oprah had Obama on before they were the presidential nominee's. No one can force her to do a damn thing, just like no one can force FOX -- er FAUX to be responsible in their reporting.

It really scares me that people go off half cocked, not knowing a damn thing about what they spew and believe they are intelligent. These people someday will become aware - really aware of what is going on around them and stop being a foot soldier for the ROVE clan of smoke and mirrors.
