 Aftermath

I bit my lip in solace.

How can I be such a bother to such a creepy little eight year old that he should have to drag all his littel friends around the park after me just to insult me. By this time I'd finnally had enough of it.

"Hey! What are you doing here?!" Shouted the smallest of the group. (I would use the word gang but I don't think that would some it up in the right way...how about mindless herd.) I took a quick glace at all of them. Some of the oldest of the group couldn't be much older then me, if that. It was obvious that the child who was intent on ruining my day was not a major leader of sorts for the group. They all rode bikes.

"Getting my freaking mail!" I shouted back. I slipped behind the wall for a moment and took a breath. Sometimes I wish I could amke myself dissapear, I'd solve little trivials like this.

"Yeah...sure..." One of the children whispered. (Note my repeat of the word children.) I unlocked the mailbox and grabbed a piece of advertisement. At the time I'd barely registered what I was holding. I just wanted to get out of there. I can't stand being at the center of attention when I'm being applauded for an acheivement much lesshaving everyone stare at you and mock you because you decided to go get the mail.

Naighborhood kids...what do I have to say...?...

"Where's you Lesbo friend?" Asked the kid. I threw my arms in the air and started racing back home as fast as I could. Firstly, my friend isn't even a lesbian. She didn't even say she was a lesbian - she said she was bi...which she isn't.

Let me explain. yesterday My friend Eva (who is Emo-ish or whatever) and I were walking around the trailer park like we always do when she's home. All of a sudden this kid who has always givin us alot of problems started verbally attacking us and whacking us with a jump rope. He was causing alot of stress for the both of us so when the kid started calling Eva fat (she is the last person in the world who could be called fat, I'm serious) she said the kid was gay and proceeded.
*I note that niether of us have any problem with anyone who is homo-sexual...it was just something Eva said in last strung frustration.
Anyway...Their conversation sputtered into complex sentences that I mentally left the planet. At one moment the kid called Eva a lebiean. She turned around and said that this was untrue and that she was bi. (Sarcasem)
Thus the conclusion.

"Go away..." I muttered under my breath. The kid continued to follow me oin his bike, hid friends huvvering close behind. I stopped listeninf to what he was saying and just walked back home.

"Who were they?" Mum asked when I came home. She was watering the grasss even though the sky looked like it could rain.

"Oh...stupid kids." I briefed her on a synopisis of the story and went inside.

I'd like to say that I'm not bothered by all that. And really I'm not. I mean, I've herd it all - really. But my mood darkened when I had that confrontation with them today. When I was younger I had the worst time fitting in anyway...nothing's really changed. But I just wish that people could be a little bit exsepting to people, and if they can't then let it go.

But I can't change the world.

It finnally had rained, and now are yard is completely flooded beacuse my Mum watered the grass. (How could we know that it would pour for three hours and probably continue for the next day or so. Part of the city is flooded  I feel better now, sitting at my computer. My cats are curled up on my Mum's chair as we watch the news.
Complete and comfortable.

A sigh after the Thunderstorm watching the last steddy pulses of rain cuirtain down across the night blakened streets.

Let's hope forgivness can be found we the next Thunderstom attcks the breeches of my world I've crfeated in my mind.

Thanks for putting up with me! Godbless:)
