So on my way to work this morning I was thinking about what needs to happen for me and my family this new year. There are so many things, so I thought I would make a list on here, that way I will always have access to it.
I am nortious for loosing things, so this is a lot better than a peice of paper.
Goals for 2008:
- Get my OCD under some kind of control.
- Follow the budget for the year & get my husband and I out of debt.
- Get my husband out to Italy for his internship this summer.
- Finally reach my goal weight 100.
- Workout at LEAST 6 days a week.
- Keep up on the house work, no dish should sit in the sink over night!!!
- Get up at 5:30 every morning, actually get up when the alarm goes off!
- Make the bed when I get up on the morning.
- Make my husbands breakfast and coffee in the morning.
- Save money to buy a house in 2009.
I have more that I cant think of at the moment.... so this will be continued!

Thanks for the reply. I have briefly read some of your blogs and I can see you have a number of very positive attributes. Although you have concerns physically and financially, your goals for 2008 demonstrate the ability to easily turn things around. I was especially interested in your interest in spiritual matters.
One of my own goals for 2008 is to read the bible by this time next year,I think your targets are great, it would be good if your husband supported you with all of them except one! How about he gets up to make you a cup of coffee and some breakfast to thank you and wish you well for the day ahead!
Regarding the budgeting plan, I found the thing that works for me is to simply list all of the expenses and incomes on a spreadsheet, be completely honest with this and then work around any spare money and spend carefully in the early days.
Do not worry about buying a house so soon, I believe we are in for a tough ride in 2008 and house prices will fall substantially.
