 All about me- Mia, thequeen96
Want to know what I am thinking right now? Well, my 7-year old little brother Luke just socked me in the arm. (Yes, I am an almost 11-year-old  christian homeschooler, and no, don't report me to the ever so high and mighty thoughts.com staff, probably some drunken pirates. I can see it now; "(*buurp*) There'z uhh...11 year old on the...site? I thoughts we was...11 too? Hun can you run down to the...laundromat...**Burp** sorry store to get me some...trail mix and a yoyo?" Anyhow my name is Mia (Mee-uh NOT MYAH), and I put that I live in Punk city USA, which is not even a valid city, obviously. I just didn't want to put where I really live. You know, kinda creepy having people look on your page sayin' "Oh, look, there's Mia, she lives in _____ ___, MI. Why do they need to know where you live anyway? It's kinda wierd. I mean, what's it to everyone on the site what town you live in? Unless everyone needs to know what town you live in to figure out your personality. "Oh, they live in Washington d.c., they're probably very politic-ie".  Or "They live in Van Lear,Kentucky, they probably live on a farm and speak with a southern accent." or "Oh, they live in Detroit, MI so they are probably really tough." You know what I mean? The town I live in was named after something that happened with King Charles II. You have to be a real history expert to figure that one out. I'm not but I know it anyways.

Alot of my background came from Van Lear, KY and my "Meemaw" as I call her, my Mom's mom, grew up on a farm and still speaks with a thick southern accent. So does my papaw. They personally knew Loretta Lynn, the famous country singer. She had a crush on my Papaw. But my Papaw loved my Meemaw. They also knew Crystal Gail, her sister. I don't live in Kentucky, my grandparents moved a long time ago to Michigan. I believe they got married in 1949, my Meemaw (Okay their real names are Vivian and John Kelly. My Papaw mostly goes by Kelly.) was only 16. My papaw was 23. They moved and had their first child, my Uncle John Kelly jr. here in Michigan. My mom is the youngest child of 6. I'm the oldest of two. Go figure.

My Dad's side, on the other hand, was another story. My Grandma Lorraine grew up in Montreal, Canada and only knew how to speak french. Of couse, she knows how to speak english now. She moved to Michigan sometime when she was a kid and met my grandpa Donald when she was in her late teens. Don grew up in Detroit, MI and his parents, Alouicious and Rose, came to the USA straight from Germany. Don and Lorraine, Unlike John and Vivian, had hardly an age difference. The only difference was Lorraine was born in February and Don in March, both in the same year of 1934.

Now, I bet you're thinking at this point, "11 years old? There's no way." I wrote all of that out of my own collected knowledge, not to brag or anything. I didn't ask my mom any of that I just wrote up there; She's upstairs reading the bible. This is educational because it is writing and she said that was okay. Everyone thinks I'm 13, I kinda look 13. I'm like 5'1, and I always put mousse in my hair and make it look spikaaay. teehee. So now that i've got the grandparents part covered, let's talk about the next generation: My parents.

My Mom was by herself at home as a kid, as if she were an only child. The second youngest child in her family, Tim, was 7 years older than her. (Okay, I'll admit, I just asked my mom how much older Uncle Tim is than her. I'll put one of these * every time I ask her something.) Then the third youngest, Philip, is 9 years older*. You get the point; All older siblings already moved out. She grew up a strict baptist; Her mother's father, my great grandpa Melvin, was a baptist pastor. I forgot to mention that. My Dad grew up catholic, and had 4 brothers. He was the 3rd child. I believe he grew up with all of his brothers, that is, until he was old enough to move out. Keith, Kevin, Kirk, Karl, & Kristopher. That's in order. Yes they are all K names.

My parents got married in 1984, my Mom was 19, and my Dad 21. And they didn't have me till twelve years later! 1996! There's this...well, almost a family tradition, I think it may have happened on accident through the years, I don't know. Well, my great grandma, I think her name is Fannie, had my Meemaw when she was 32, and my meemaw had my mom when she was 32, and my mom had me when she was 32. I guess I will have to carry on that tradition...

Now to tell about me. I am Homeschooled as you all know, and live with my mom, my dad, my little brother Luke, my dog Dingo, and my two pretty cats, Kion and Indy. Oh, and I'd tell you about my future husband. But if his mom is on here she'll kill me. Not to mention he is another story for another time.Wink
