What I ask you can be so important about going to a school dance? The being asked or asking? The endless amount of time spent trying to find the right attire? Or perhaps it the countless times you ask if someone else is going just to see if you get the chance to brag about the fact that you are going. I live in spanish fork, I attend Spanish Fork High. Here there is something about your social ranking that just confuses me because you can be on top in one place and on the bottom in the next. As a cheerleader you are considered either popular beyond belief, with a body most girls only dream they had. Flexible bodys that boys notice with out realizing what they are doin. Or your known as a skanky dancer with no other purpose then to dance like a skank and call it "artisitc" in some form or another. Or your that strange girl who sits on the floor in the hall and just reads. Sometimes you wonder if she ever gets up, because she is always there...reading. Or your that guy who knows everyone and everyone knows you, but at the same time... nobody likes you. Football players are either total airheaded hotties with extremely narrow vision in life, or they are smart but just trying to find a way to get into college. or you me, friends with few, known by many and unnoticed by a great majority. You have enemys that push your buttons like nobodys business and people who you only wish you knew.
You have teachers whop only pay attention to you when your super smart or super annoying. You have no other choice but to dissapear into the hallways of the hell hole most refer to as The Teenage Years. may god help us all!
ok so if you read about me, you know that I have a boyfriend! and he is adorable with a beasty truck that everyone loves! but my only question is, am I going out with him for me, or for the chance that some of the other girls in school will see me as their equal because my boyfriend is just like theirs?
