So, I guess I've been wanting to do another blog for sometime now. I say another blog because this is not my first, maybe my third. I don't really remember.
Anyway, I guess I should introduce myself. I'm an Ohio college student, living and going to school in Columbus. I'm an avid reader of mostly nonfiction and periodicles, but I also read a little fiction to keep things interesting. I'm a published writer; I write for a campus nonpartisan political newspaper. With my friends, I enjoy fine food, thoughtful conversation and great jazz music (Columbus has some excellent venues).
Enough about me. I should state my purpose for this blog. I, like the rest of the population, have a great deal to say, and more than enough opinions in which to exress my thoughts, ergo this blog. There will be more than enough ranting and whining within these posts for anyone. I will probably go on tirades. I will probably be highly critical of what I've watched, read or seen. Which leads me to address what I'll be whining or ranting about. Well, that could be anything--most likely subjects political in nature, but I'm not limiting myself to politics. I may discuss my reactions to articles or passages or movies or television shows. Also friends. I have a few, and we are unique, and who doesn't like talking about one's friends? I mean, what are friends for other than mentioning their faults and indiosyncracies in blogs they'll never read, right? Exactly.
I don't know how often I'll add to this blog (daily, weekly, twice daily), but I intend to make this work for awhile--at least through my second semester.
