| Dawn Direct Foam Review |
Okay, don't pretend you haven't wanted to half a$$ the task of washing dishes. We've all thought of it from time to time. This product was invented for women like us.
What is it?: It is a dish washing liquid that requires no water to create suds.
What does it claim to do?: It claims to save water by eliminating the sink filling step and allowing washers to go straight to scrub and rinsing. It claims to clean as well as regular Dawn.
How much is it?: About $3.50 The same or less as the regular Dawn.
How many sink loads?: It claims about 190 per bottle.
The verdict: It does save water. You really can wash without filling up the sink. The dishes are squeaky clean including the plastics. I recommend using hot water to wet the sponge before applying the single pump of soap.
Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
I don't like the price but the benefits out way the costs. It doesn't tackle dried on food or heavy oil to the best of the normal Dawn's ability. You actually have to go back for more pumps for the heavy duty jobs. One pump is good for an average load of dishes (one meal's worth including pots and pans). Saves water, time, and energy. Our dishwasher is now a large dish rack to dry the dishes.
