 Celebrating Mabon (Autumnal Equinox)
September 21st is Mabon, or the Autumn Equinox. There are many ways to celebrate the kick off the the fall season. Here are some low cost ideas.

1. Make acorn necklaces

2. Make pine needle baskets with raffia or sinew.

3. Decorate pine cones.

4. Make a fall wreath out of grape vines.

5. Plant Garlic and other seasonal plants

6. Cook potato and herb, corn, or squash soups.

7. Make a cornucopia filled with fruits like blackberries.

8. Take a moment to walk down memory lane with your family or children remembering your ancestors.

9. Take a long walk before bed time to say goodnight to the trees and animals that will be sleeping for the next few months.

10. Burn sage or incenseĀ  and decorate your home with fall colors.
