Successful Plan at Running Away?
I have a plan to run away, but I am not going to go through with it. I would like to know though how successful it would have been and any holes in my plan. My Plan: In the middle of the night I would back my bags, sneak out, steal the car keys (all of which I know I could easily accomplish). Go to multiple ATMs and take out all my money. Drive to the Mexican border (not far away). Hopefully pass through, go to a coastal city, find a job (I know spanish),and work there until I can be emancipated in the U.S. (two years). I know I won't do it, but I still wonder what might happen if I did.

Not sure what its like there but in Australia ATMS have a daily limit - mostly $1000(Aus) I think. Also, here banks often put a freeze on any account that appears to be getting systematically emptied out particularly when the transactions don't match normal activity for that account holder.

With this plan wouldn't you be worried your parent/guardian/s would report the car stolen and the police would stop you before you cross the border?
