I say we take a stand. A stand against love and all it's games. We need a team. Almost like ghostbusters, but..... lovebusters. Who will you call when love has you feeling blue? Or when your heart and soul gets crushed by the reality of love never lasting? Or when you are on the end of your rope and love gives the final push? That's right. LoveBusters. If love is a battlefield, why are we always losing? When do we get to win? Does love get to push in a wooden horse while we try and survive with sparklers? I hate to love people. Why should I pour my heart and soul into something that only lasts as long as love decides. Love is like one of those microscopic germs that go flying through the air as someone sneezes. It's contagious. You think you love somebody, you put so much effort into it, and then the love bug passes through your system and the relationship is over. Why does love get to decide our happiness? Why does love get to pick people who don't feel the same about each other. Not really anyways. Love is a disease. Just like popularity and social customs. Fall in love, get married, pop babies, grow old and die. Fuck love. Fuck falling in love, especially when there's no one there to catch you. Fuck marriage, if love is real, why do we feel we have to make a commitment. Love feels like a commitment. (I can't say Fuck babies. Seeing as I may actually want some of my own one day). Fuck growing old together. No one will love me when I'm old. Love can't win. I won't let it. At least, so far I've been sucessfull (okay, so it's been 3/4 months since I've given into any of these rules/steps. But, I am confident, that as a LoveBuster, you will be able to ward off those fuzzy, deep, soft, feelings that everyone seems to find endearing.
Steps to defeating love:
1. When you meet someone who makes you feel warm and fuzzy and safe, remember that those are just your endorphins kicking in.This does not mean that they are your night in shining armor. It's a hoax.
2. If someone tries to get you to fall in love with them (being tender, writing you poems, buying you boxes of candy) remember, that love is just an emotion. Same as sadness or anger. It passes just as they do. (but you can keep the chocolates anyways if it makes you feel better)
3.Remember that Love is just a refex of lust. And if you feel temped, all you have to do is find a LoveBuster to help you remember the error of your ways.
Remember falling in love is hard on the knees, but LoveBusters is here to bandage you up.
