I know many many many couples that are happily married from different religions. My best friends mother is Jewish and Father is Catholic. Sure there may be fights among people whose religions differ, but on the whole I don't think that is why she said that. She also isn't talking about polar...

Apparently people are missing my point. This has nothing to do with being with my "friend" as you put it.... I spoke with her about an hour ago. This is simply about an ideal.
My point of contest that looking down on someone for their religion, or lack there of is no better than racism,...
