I LOVE this book. Sarah Young's Jesus Calling Enjoying Peace in His Presence ISBN 978-1-5914-5188-4 is a masterpiece of devotional writing. I have only read one other book which captures Jesus' personality and enables the reader to connect with the Lord in a most personal way and also enables the reader to put into literal practice the devotions listed here. This book is simply beautiful. I cannot say enough about it to make you want to pick it up and never put it down! Inspiring and hope-provoking, this devotional can be used and read for any year since there are no weekdays listed. So you can read it over and over and over again until it's time to buy another copy! It's easy to picture our Lord speaking directly to you in the most loving of terms. Young manages to express the love Jesus presents to us and His desire for us to know him through trust in Him. Each day, the devotional takes the reader through all of the aspects of life in which Christ Himself wishes to join with us. Young makes Christ available to us via her own journaling journey which began with her realizing all nature itself is the work of our Creator, something I personally can empathize with since my love of nature itself has only recently been revealed and this devotional has the ability to make the reader know that Jesus is speaking in the most relevant terms to him or her. I treasure this book and I am sure you will too.
