| This Week's Been a Tough One

I know I haven't posted much and my last post was pretty vague... but the whole thing is somewhat vague in my memory, so you know how it goes.
My friend and I haven't spoken much and when we have it's been strained. I guess I can understand this after the craziness that ensued but I honestly think she is making a mistake with this guy. She moved to the state where she lives to be with another guy, then he broke up with her and after ONE WEEK she meets this guy on the internet and is now "in love" with him. I think she needed someone to validate her being in teh state (as her two only friends there ended up pregnant and unavail pretty much) so she latched onto the first person she found that would accommodate her. They basically started living together as soon as they met as well. I just think she might be getting into something she shouldn't be and both of them are going to end up hurting in one way or another. But, it's her life and not mine, and I honestly shouldn't have said some of the things that I did and I know that.
Okay, enough about that. This week has been rough. I had a HUGE emotional hangover, depressed for days. Went home and cried a few times this week for about an hour. A lot of this has to do with work however, as we have a new principal and he has ALREADY fired a veteran teacher. (Sounds crazy but I am the second highest in "seniority" at this school). They keep coming in our room and every time they come into mine they catch me and the kids at a bad time. Makes me nervous. I've been staying late and trying to kiss butt, and this just is NOT my style. Been very very stressful. I was worried that once they brought in another new person (the asst principal was new last year) they'd start picking off the veterans one-by-one in order for them to be the longest standing and start "afresh." Next year should be reeeeal interesting.
As for things at all, things are good with B. I was worried that the drama last weekend and his friend hitting on me (he's harmless so I dont care) would make him mad at me and stuff because I'm just a naturally easy going like laugh it off type person, which sometimes can be mistaken for flirting. I also when I get drunk think its funny to make other drunk people do funny things, and his friend LOVES to take his clothes off so I'd um encourage him if you will--- only because everyone was laughing--NOT because I was interested in seeing him naked (ewwww). But alas, B has been supportive during this week of depression for me and very patient. There's this SeaWorld commercial that comes on where this kid says "I believe fun is a refillable resource." And he'd start tickling me when I'd be all snot faced from crying and be like "See Babes! Fun is a refillable resource!" He's cute. I don't know what I would do without him, honestly. Some may not like that statement but it's true.
This weekend--going to take it EASY! Probably won't be any exciting blogs about the weekend from the jaded on Monday. If I can help it, i'm going to stay home, sleep, do some work, do some laundry, and just hang out with B. His BIG series 7 exam is on Wednesday!
Oh, and we are also BROKE. so that will help with the "taking it easy front."

Yeah, it doesn't sound like your friend is making wise decisions.
I'm so sorry you've been depressed lately, I was wondering where you'd been :P
I'm glad Ben's been treating you well! What he said to you about the Sea World commercial was extremely cute. ^_^
Have fun taking it easy, you need it :P I'll be back to read again. :)

Give your friend time, in the long run things won't work out and she will need you to be there for her. I'm sorry you have been depressed, I hope things get better. I can relate. It sounds like at least things with Ben are going well. Hope you have a good weekend!

Well, your friend moving to another state for a guy and in return he dumps her after a week definitely freaks me out!! haha
As for this new principal....I'd be freaking out too.
You and I would be fun drunks together!! Haha...I love encouraging people to do stupid things when they are drunk!! I'm such an instigator!!
