In general, my spirits have been so much higher than they were a few weeks ago. Things are so much better with B, the wedding is out of the way, fall is here, and I'm just feeling optimistic in general.
I have to admit though, today, I'm a little grumpy. Not depressed or pissed or anything, just grumpy. Yesterday I had jury duty so I had to call my school and tell them that I wouldn't be in and I guess the office manager that was supposed to give the sub instructions was late so the sub didn't get the instructions. It ended up being okay because my teacher-friend, Sherry, the 11th grade English teacher texted me and got the instructions to her after second period.
Last night, B and I hung out and I made baked mexican chicken and fajita vegetables -- no carbs! way to go me. :) It turned out alright, but I did eat some chocolate cake. ha ha... oh well. Gill has been surprisingly anti-social lately and I think he knows that something is up. B hasn't told him that he is going to have to move out soon, I think he's unsure how to tell him. I am leaving that one up to him. But yeah, he's been just hanging out in his "room" (i'll explain the quotes in a bit) and not really talking to us much. Somehow, he's still managed to annoy me.
When we got home from Seattle, I noticed on the floor a gigantic black and orange stain. Apparently B's pumpkin had fallen off the bar and rotted. Gill's like "oh yeah, I haven't gotten around to cleaning that up yet." Uh... so that stain has been drying and sinking into the carpet for days! Who ended up cleaning it up? That's right... me. Annoyance #1.
Then, Gill gets home from work and it's his Friday so he drinks a sparks and then immediately raids the liquor cabinet. The liquor cabinet that he never refills might I add. I bought a huge bottle of SKYY after he had drank my Gvori, and now the Skyy is almost empty. B and I don't drink much liquor... so yeah. Annoyance #2.
B and I watched a movie and afterwards I was going to bed and Gill was like "Hey B, wanna come to my room?" Just hearing that was annoying to me because the original agreement was that that was our office. We made it clear that we needed that room, and the things in it and yes, the closet had a lot of things in there and that's just part of the deal. You can't find a rental in Hermosa for what we are charging him anywhere (which he will soon figure out!!) and we were charging him that because he was going to be sleeping in OUR office. Anyway, he comes in, moves a bunch of stuff out of hte closet and into the garage, he put about twenty holes in the wall trying to hang stupid shelves, he rearranged the entire room, and he is using our camping cooler to put some of his clothes in. Annoyance #3.
Then he woke me up at 1:30 in the morning by him beating the trash down so he could take it out on his skateboard... why that needed to be done at 1:30 AM is beside me, but it was annoying and it was loud in the complex. Also, when I get woken up at night, it's almost impossible for me to get back to sleep so I didn't get back to sleep until around 3 AM. Annoyance #4.
Anyway, I'm keeping my mouth closed, and not letting him get to me. I'm not going to let him get a reaction out of me. I know that he was provoking me before, and now it's coming back to bite him in the ass.
Annoyance #5 is with B... when we were Seattle he was using my laptop to write his best man's speech. He gets really irritated with computers when it doesn't do exactly what he wants it to do right away. He got frustrated and started closing things and hitting enter without seeing what he was doing. He deleted all of my lesson plans that I had created from now until Christmas break!!!
Anyway, it's just another day in the neighborhood.

I can certainly understand your annoyance but agree that you should not confront him with it - he will be out of your hair soon enough and THAT alone should make you feel instantly better!

Bummer about the lesson plans being deleted! I know what you mean about not being able to go back to sleep. That happened to me last night! It sucks! I am grumpy today too, only I don't have a Gil! I can't wait till he is gone... I think everything will be a lot better.
OH ya, how was jury duty?

omg
I remember lesson plans, I still have nightmares about them, and I havent taught school for a zillion years...the principal would come in at random times to check to see if they were up to date, we always had to have them completed one week in advance...I always had them, but in my nightmares, I never did and worried about the principal coming into my room and finding an empty book...if someone erased all of my hard work, Id, really really would be upset!
