Thoughts.com Blogs - And Another Day

Really don't have a whole lot to write about, but since my ST is doing my job, I figure I can just sort of ramble... again.

Last night we actually had a lot of fun playing softball. Ben did awesome in the field and I improved my batting. I hit two line drives, both which were bobbled by the fielders... but unfortunately I didn't get on base. Oh well though, I improved a lot from that first game where I struck out every time.

Ben is bumming because his good buddy from Iowa was supposed to come out and celebrate fourth of July with us... buuuttttttt he had 18 days until he got off Parole for numerous drinking and DUI offenses... and then there was Veisha which is this big celebration in Ames... and he got arrested again for public intox. Ben's disappointed in him and that he isnt going to be able to come now.

Ben is moving ahead interviewing with Edward Jones. He didn't get the financial advisor position with Ameriprise, but thinks that Edward Jones would be a more promising career anyway.

It's cloudy and gloomy out today... makes me tired. I actually got up out of bed early again today and hit the gym before work. Super early, but it makes all the difference in the world, and then I can go home after school and not feel guilty about going to the gym. I just hope that it starts making a difference in my body. I'm not fat by any means, but I've gained weight since Ben moved here.

Ummmmmm I guess that is about it from here. Making pasta tonight... one of my vices... but oh so delicious.
