Okay... so i'm at work again. Been here since 9 and now it's 11. So where are the many shoppers? It is nice to be able to take 5/10 breaks to gather my thoughts between sales, but it's as if something this Christmas shopping season is off... Aren't people supposed to be shoving, running, and grasping at the last of the lasts?? Afterall it is Sunday, that could be it.
I have assumed this day to be crazy busy...but you know what they say about assuming (it makes an ASS out of U and ME). We did have a ad snow fall last night, so maybe the many shoppers are cowaring in their homes, afraid to brave the icy, compacted snow-roads. I know i'd rathe be at home, in front of the fire, sipping cocoa, and watching my recorded epidose of Gossip Girl. . .
Aww, people are so cute .in the way. they peer from across the way into my store, they way they squint, and try to see if coming into peruse my store is going to be worth their leg miles. Either it's cute or i'm going crazy from being cooped up in this store, not able to tell day from night, and living on bottled water while i work.
Hope the rest of y'all's shopping adventures are just as peachy
Merry Day before the Day before Christmas!
