 Valentines Day Story
Ready for a story about Valentine's Day?...

There once was a girl and a boy. The girl loved this boy more than life itself. She would sacrifice anything for him to see him smile - if only for a moment. This girl and boy had one of the strongest of loves you'll ever hear of!
They not only were devoted and the apple of each other's eye, but they also were hundreds of miles away from one another.
Because of this distance, they could not touch, embrace, or kiss everyday. This made them sad, but despite the distance, they were strong because they knew one day they'd close that gap and be fused together.
They would someday be able to touch, embrace, and kiss everyday, every minute, and every second.
The girl and boy had only one month left of separation before they could unite.
The girl was overjoyed and the boy was bursting at the seams!
One night the girl was called in for a favor and because the girl always wanted to help, she said yes.

The boy asked the girl why she'd have to be gone for so long and the girl told the boy, but promised to call him when she was all finished.

The task took much longer than the girl had anticipated. The whole length of time that the girl had to wait and not talk to the boy, was pure agony. She itched to talk but knew no matter what or how late she would call and would be graced with his familiar, loving voice.
When she finally called, he was rabid and furious. The boy was sure the girl lied and was being permiscuous.
She was heartbroken that he would judge her so falsely.

She couldn't get over how un-trusting he was. The girl put two and two together and knew that if he didn't trust her then that meant he didn't love her. V-day was the day after and now it was ruined because if there was no trust, there was no love, ... meaning no girl and boy.

Over something so stupid and crazy, their future, fantasies, and dreams were drowned. The girl and boy tried to go their separate ways, but were never complete because
There was no one else to complete the girl
AND
There was no one else to complete the boy.
THE END.
                                                                                    ........ true story.

That's a familiar story for many people. But you are right...without trust there is only a very hollow love.
