On the morning of Valentines Day, i was running around like crazy trying to get ready, my boyfriend and i were on the rocks, and it was Valentines Day... *meaning i was lonely cuz i was having a tiff with my guy = worn out from stress*
I came downstairs to get my things and head out the door for class when i found a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a note next to them with my name on them. They were an amazing display of hearty green stems and beautiful blossoms of vibrant coral-red. AND! There were from my Dad!
That made my day more than i think he knew. I immediately hugged him thank you and continued to ooooh and ahhh over the amazement and surprise i felt.
And the special thing was that the tulips, are potted, and can be planted when Spring comes. So, i'll be able to enjoy them now while they're in the kitchen on the table and later when they're planted outside in front of the house.
It's the gift that keeps on giving
Plus, i'll remember just how it made me feel when i saw them the morning of Valentines Day and how it made my day!
