Read if you dare...
HA HA! Last night while i was at work weird things were happening. First off, you should know that i work at a music box store. My place of business is full up of music boxes!...and i mean full! Usually when i hear the familar (and at most times, annoying) chime of a music box i know there is someone in my store. Someone winding the small gold crank.
So there i was in the back room and i heard that familar sound. I popped out ready to greet and help,... but there was NO ONE in my store. *oooooooh* I shrugged it off and went back in the backroom.
Later i was sitting at the desk, typing away, ... when yet again i heard a music box-a-playin-a-tune. I whirled around and once again no one was there, i only heard the familiar sound of "here comes santa clause". It took me a few mintues, but i uncovered the troublesome music box and wound it out the rest of the way.
Thought i had it all settled....
UNTIL! * dunn dunn dunnnnnn * yet another music box began to play. The wierd thing about the other box was that it was behind the counter. So no one had touched it... Here it sat next to my desk, slowing chugging out the tune of "music of the night" (phantom of the opera). Yah, strange shtick!
I wound that box out too.
After that there was no more strange music playing...
