View Blog    Grandpa Grandpa Carl was honored at church last night by being given the title of Deacon Emerritus. Its one of the highest honors that a man in the church can be given. The majority of the family was present and Grandpa received a tie tack and a nice plaque. He was very touched and I think it made he and Gram feel how much love and admiration we all have for them. Our family has been blessed to have such Christian parents/grandparents as role models throughout our lives and it was great to see that others have noticed how wonderful they are. I thank our Lord for providing me with them and for all that they have taught me.....
