"I do not believe that sheer suffering teaches. If suffering alone taught, all the world would be wise, since everyone suffers. To suffering must be added mourning, understanding, patience, love, opennes and the willingness to remain vulnerable."
Joseph Addison
i find this quote interesting! i know so many people have their own opinion on this. espeically stuff like this. some look at it in a positive manner and some a negative one. kind of like if it doesn't kill you it'll make you stronger. hmmm....
i think this quote has a good point. not an easy one to experience on your own but one that will take time as all things do that aren't easy. i think the last part about remaining vulnerable would probably be one of the hardest things to do. most people, after experience this, don't want to go through it again. they are scared and turned away from it. well i thought i'd share a little with everyone who wants to read. give me your opinion on it if you'd like.

A similar lesson to Po getting a dumpling from Master Shifu in Kung Fu Panda. Learning from experience makes you less hungry by being made full with wisdom.
