Have you ever smelled a rose or truly examined one? It smells of bittersweet nectar and despite its thorns it still remains so eloquent! There is so much beauty in this world, people just need to stop and really take the time and look around. I think people take the little things for granted. It happens to all of us. When we do take the time to appreciate it, we feel a lot better. We notice things that we haven't noticed before and we thank those around us. In return, we make them feel good too!
I try my best not to dwell on the negativity in which life brings cuz in the midst of every storm there is a rainbow! I try my best to stay positive and it's not always easy! There are days that I feel so down and that I'm not getting anywhere in life! That's right you heard me say it! I'm sure we've all reached that point in our lives from time to time, or maybe for the first time. I try to motivate myself to get up and go on. That things could be a lot worse then what they are. That there are people out there who love you! That it's not the end of the world and you just have to find that silver lining!
Don't know where this all is coming form. Maybe cuz I saw a friend who fell off the face of the earth it seems. Could be too that I know so many people who are facing a lot of problems and issues in their lives. They talk to me, vent, let things off their chest. It's the simplest things that can help you sort through the dark and even better to know that you're not alone. That someone is there with you, holding the flash light. =P I know I got some dorky analogies! It just seems like a rough time for a lot of people I know, and I try my best to be there for them. I don't want them to feel alone cuz their not!
