I just sat down with a warm bowl of rice. I've discovered through trial and error that it's best to let them cool before eating them. Who knew? :P

Things have been fairly uneventful as of late. I don't really know who I'm kidding because not much has been going on for the past few months. A lack of funds is a large contributor to mine and Robert's boredom, but I can't bring myself to get a job. I know that as soon as I do, my grades are going straight to hell. I'm reasonably smart, but I'm still a slacker at heart. I can only focus so much of my attention on things I don't want to do, and I think school is the better of the two. Thank God for Robert. I'm absolutely indebted to him for helping me get through school the way he is.

Being a pothead hasn't yet proved to be a serious disadvantage this semester, but it's only the first (of many). And while we're on the subject of school, it seems worth mentioning that I have a final to take in about an hour. I did the math, and I only have to get 30% to maintain an A in the course. With odds like that, why study? I hope this won't bite me in the ass.
