Alright- so I haven't written in quite awhile, I guess there is just so much going on!!!
My 2 week liquid diet starts the day after tomorrow... I'm nervous, but excited. I'm nervous for the sheer fact that I will have to cut "real" food out of life completely and that's totally something that I'm not accustomed to. I'm excited because the start of the liquid diet means that i'm just that much closer to the surgery and closer to finally seeing the new me!!!
I feel like i have so much support, which I know is important for a procedure like this. It's the same support you would need if you were a recovering alcoholic or drug addict... you can't do it alone, and you have to surround yourself with people that care about you and that want to see you do well. It's life changing!!! My mom will be coming out from Las Vegas to take care of me for the first week, and me and my aunt are going shopping tonight to buy everything for my liquid diet. My boyfriend is taking time off to be with me at the hospital, and I know that my family will be coming to see me. I've also received a lot of support at work... everyone is very encouraging and supportive. I really couldn't ask for a better support structure.
Anyway, time to go shopping forliquid diet supplies... this should be interesting.
