That's right! You read that title correctly. I have GIVEN UP HEALING! "Why," you may ask "have you given up something you love?" Well, you gormless fuckwit, it's because I don't love it as much as I used to.
To be quite frank, I've been playing a Paladin for about 3 years now. Oh heavens, maybe longer. Since patch...1.3? Whenever ZG was opened. I remember seeing the big old troll on the launcher and going "Well...fuck. I hope I don't meet that at level 1." Of course, I didn't. I met Marshall McBride.
Again, you say "Wait, Marshall McBride? But Summer, that's an Alliance NPC." Well, no shit. I played a Human Paladin named Jarrock, and then one named Daegen. And they were both Holy. I jumped servers, hence the name change. I have been healing and AoE tanking since I was 17. I'm 21 now. There's a reason I'm good as a Paladin.
But...much to Sistajuju's chagrin I'm sure, I gave up the Healing. (After recieving my 1st piece of T5 no less :P) Because I'm bored. And, as Sista will tell you, she only wants healers who want to heal. Which, as much as she worries she's being rude, is extremely resonable. I was the same way when I ran Rose Line Knigts and then co-managed Devil's Exiles. If you are a healer, you better fucking want to heal.
Anyways, so now I'm a Retadin. Go ahead and check my armoury (IT IS SPELLED WITH 'OUR'! I'M CANADIAN!) And I have to say, it's a ton of fun. Infact, I seem to be in high demand. The top raiding guild on the server, called Malice, invited me to guest raid. That was...VERY flattering. I'm nobody! I'm...Summerdawn. stupid-ass halfwit of the Grim Legion. I'm...I'm nothing. These guys were all in T6. A Shaman/Druid (he plays both) and 3 warriors all in T6 asking ME to go raid BT if I had time.
I didn't. I had class. But they invited me to run with them during reading week and holidays. Which is nice, I can acquire some sweet-ass gear.
