| You need to speak your mind clearly and don't expect genuine relationship from people who are manipulative and controlling. Good people relate for the joy of relating. For toxic people relationship is a battle ground. Stand up to her strongly, make her smart. Unfortunately our worst enemies are sometimes to be found within our own families. They criticise but never give thanks. Don't expect anything from them, that way you can't be disappointed. Look to invest your time and emotional self with people who are good and tick the rest off as a bad joke. You have a birth right to be happy, take it an make it your experience in the face of anyone who is toxic. Good luck. |

Sounds like my boss at work, in a way.
She'll get upset if somethings not done, but if you go out of your way to do something, you get no thanks. It sucks. |
