This is what I do: I don't ever confide in them again. Why should I tell them sensitive stuff about me when they're going to spread it to the rest of the world? I just share all the superficial news and information with them, but I'll keep the deep stuff to myself and discuss it with others I can trust.

'One Million B.C.' sounds like a good movie to me. Haven't seen it displayed in the town library but it will show up soon somewhere I'm sure. Another great review. I think they might have used that same lizard fighting scene in one of the episodes of "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea." It seemed like a nice old sci-fi television series.

Sometimes I feel like I've got a bit of it too, but not as bad as you. I hope you're feeling better now and not worse. All I can do is pray for you. Posted in religion on 2007-12-14 21:53:53
Go to church. Other religions will only burn you. You might think I am a closed-minded person and I probably am, but I firmly believe that the Bible is true and Jesus is the only way to God and Heaven. Don't think of religion as something you'll be living your life by until you die. Maybe you can classify religion as that. But Christianity is living your life for Christ here on earth and for eternity. Think about the eternal consequences of the choice you're going to make. I'm not trying to scare you; I'm just telling you the truth because I'm required to and because I think it's important that you know. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me. I'll do the best I can to answer them.

Posted in religion on 2007-12-14 21:49:53
If you expect someone to ask you to go to church then you're treating the church like another club. The church is your home. You are a child of God and no one should stand in the doorway and stop you from going there. Don't worry about what others think of you. There are those who think/say they are Christians but they aren't. Don't think of them; think of God and everything about Him. He loves you.

Jasmine16, I think your parents should care enough to take you seriously when you tell them that you have some problems. Depression can happen to children even younger than you so it is the parents' responsibility to notice the symptoms. You must tell them so they can take you to a doctor and let the doctor see if you really have depression. From what I'm reading on your blog, I think you have something just like depression. I've been through it and I know. You must find help. God bless.

Posted in THROBBING on 2007-12-14 21:03:07
I also feel the tendency to blame others/things for my problems, but I turn the anger on myself and tada! I have depression which is essentially hate turned inward. But don't worry. God can save/heal you and He will if you believe and let Him.

SylentPoet, I like the way you put your thoughts down. Good job at that! I'm so sorry about what happened between you and your friend. That really sucks big time. I can kinda' understand how you're feeling. I've been going through a pain much like that and it does not feel good. The best thing I can do is pray, read the Bible, memorize Scripture, and meditate on it. I'm not talking about a one-hour prayer but me constantly praying for about ten seconds anytime of the day (even when I'm in the restroom). I hope you hang in there and seek out a way to help yourself. I would recommend you talking to someone with experience or a pastor of some Bible-believing church. I pray that God will give you peace. Smile. Jesus loves you.

Seems like you're in the same situation that I'm in. I've gone about this problem by just doing things. I still attend college, but I don't do my assignments to the best of my ability. I just do them so that my guardians won't get angry at me for not doing anything. I don't think I'll be getting good grades this semester, but that's alright with me because at least my guardians didn't get disappointed with me (I'm not saying they won't eventually).

Nice list of resolutions. I don't know the dangers of the gastric bypass surgery but you probably know a bit about it and the doctors will probably do their job of advising you on the advantages and - if there are any - disadvantages of having this operation performed. Definitely a good idea to fix the money situation. My mom has had a lot of trouble getting these issues fixed with my father who got himself another wife (we still have polygamy back in my country). She left him, but I doubt she's got the money situation fixed by now.

I never knew I was an emo until I became emo. If you don't have emotions, there is something wrong with you. If you let emotions control your everyday life, there is something wrong with you. It's okay to be emotionally stressed out. But you must drop the emotions and start getting better feelings. Do things to make your spirits go up. Just a thought.

Posted in Where do I stand in the friendship line? Here or t on 2007-12-03 14:15:13
Give them what they give you. If they give you unimportant information, then you give them unimportant information. It's not a fair trade when the information exchanged between friends is not even. That's what I think. Have a nice day.

I'm guessing the A list crowd is that group of people that like to comment and talk about others. I never was too comfortable with my A list crowd, but I tried my best to live with it. My mom would always try to protect me and my sisters from the A list crowd. Have a nice day.

If you were in my current situation, you would have an advantage. I've done some things that I want to forget, but I can't. That's why I'm experiencing mental depression. It's nice to be able to look forward and not back. You have an advantage that people like me would give big money for.

I'm finishing off the last weeks of the semester too. It does get hectic. I've been rejected nine times. It was all my fault. Don't feel bad about yourself. I cut my hair too. I shaved it all off. It was a mistake because I was just trying to shorten it but while shaving, I accidentally placed the clippers on my head and there was this bald spot. I had to shave it all off after that. Now I don't have to worry about making my hair look tidy because I don't have a lot of it :)

It's nice to meet people you see at certain places. I've never met any of my blog friends, and I'd like to keep it that way. This will be my second winter here. I come from the tropics. I like the cold because it provides release for all my stress. Whenever I get stressed out, I take a nice cold walk and the stress freezes to death.
