 Names
Lately I heard someone talk about a baby without name. He described it as a person without identity and I came to think about the question: Are we defined through our names or through the simple fact, that we got one?

Let’s assume that we are. What does that mean?
It means that a few letters are responsible for who we are and who we will be. We are nothing without our names. But what is it about our names? The amount of letters? The meaning of the word? The amount of names? Is one name worthier than the other? And who decides that?
Just thinking about these questions makes me feel extremely ridiculous!
Names, we’re talking about names! It’s just something, people invented to tell us apart. How can we claim that it identifies us? Or is it just an excuse? Is it possible that we hide behind our names to prevent us from actually admitting who we are, instead of being proud of it?

Isn’t a person identified by its personality? Aren’t we the ones to design our character and our experiences and surroundings?
In what way is it defensible to let our names say who we are?

i think that a name doesnt make you anything imparticular, however you make your name mean things by your own actions. so no the length and worth of the name is not what defines a person...you do have a point though will all the questions.
