 Had My Lasik Done
I had the Lasik surgery today. In an earlier blog I mentioned that  my younger brother had the surgery because he was negligent in wearing his glasses and refused to try contacts so he was putting himself and others in danger because he couldn't see.

After he had it done he acted as if he had major invasive surgery. He cursed and screamed.

I got the office I was given a little valium (I got a little queezy). The procedure itself was aproximately 15mins. There was no pain.

I haven't left the house so I'm not sure how well I can see yet, but I can actually see the tv clearly. To protect my eyes at night I was given goggles that are like ski goggles.

I'm glad it is over and the dr said that the surgery went well. Dr. Stahl is in the top 50 of the nations Lasik surgeons. He even calls all his patient in the evening to check up on them, not many drs would do that.

I'm really glas that I did it.

I went to see the Dr. today and he said my eyes are doing well. I was nearsighted so everything was slightly blurry far off, now everything is clear and its only one day. The Dr. told me I now have 20/15 vision.

If you're a good candidate you should have it done!

nice, i hope it works well. i had wanted it but doubt but im not sure that it would have any effect. i know you need to have the same glasses for 2 years or something, meanwhile mine are changing (plus my parents would probably never let me). for now i'm gonna stay with glasses and see how far it goes.

Thanks for the comment. It definitly works, I've never seen things so clearly. It is expensive usually 4,000-5,000 for both eyes. You're young still and your eye sight is still changing. In a couple years you should have stable eye sight maybe you can look into then.

Good to know that the surgery went well. I hope that you will be able to see better now.

Thanks for the comment. I can see a whole lot better than I could before. Now I just have to use Thera Tears for the whole winter to keep my eyes moisturized. 20/15 is awesome.
