 A little about me
Well, since I am new to this and alot of things here on the internet, I figured I would tell everyone about me.

I am a 30 something male. Born and raised in the US. I moved around quite a bit as a kid so I actually claim 2 states as to where I am from. Kentucky and Alabama. I own land in both states so I would say I am technically legal residents of them both as well. I went to college in Alabama, WAR Eagle. I received a degree in Economics and minored in Business Management. Yeah, BORING. I had a really good time in college but hey who doesn't?

I am currently living in Japan, with my current occupation. I wouldn't call it one of those jobs that you hate as I really like what I do now, we will get to that later. I was a US Marine for 8 years, of which I got to travel quite extensively throughout the US, Souther Europe, and Africa. I fell in love with traveling hence is why I do what I do now.

Currently I work for an Aid Organization, specializing in Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief. Pretty much if something happens in Asia, I am there. When I am not doing that I assist various countries, rural areas, with economic stimulus plans as well as civil organization and development. I go in and boost the local economy by bilding schools, orphanages or civil structures that the city/village may need.

Sounds like a pretty sweet job eh? It really is, I would say the only down fall is that you don't have time for a life outside of work or a steady relationship. Try telling someone you really like you have to be gone for 3 weeks out of a month and see how they react to that. It is something I guess you have to get used to. I though I was done with that life when I left the Corps, but they pay here does make up for it.

Anyways, that is a brief story of my life, a very brief story. I have traveled around the world and will only go even farther in the years to come. My future plans include, but are not limited to, an early retirement, (next 5 years maybe),where I will travel for leisure for a few years and then settle down in one of my favorite spots doing god only knows what.

Wow that really does sound like an awesome job! It's similar to what I want to do actually. How did you stumble across it?
