Recently travelled to Tuscany to attend the wedding of two great friends.  My first ever visit to
Italy surprisingly - but it will not be my last.  Stunning, breathtaking, relaxing, charming, welcoming, delightful, enchanting and romantic.  And that is just the scenery.
The respective families of the bride and groom took over a whole villa and it's adjoing accomodation for a week.  Incredibly old, characterful, imposing and beautiful.  You should check it out - Stomennano - close to Sienna, twenty minutes by road maybe.
The bride is Irish, the groom is English, and two more suitably matched people you would struggle to find.  The hospitality and generosity of each family was boundless and this resulted in me returning home seven pounds heavier than the previous week.  The splendor of the location and the occasion are nigh on impossible to describe and so I will not even try.  The memories though are priceless as is the friendships made, cemented and nurtured over seven all too short days.
