Poor Thomas. . . he did not have a good night! I knew at 9pm last night when he told me his ear was hurting that it was going to be another LONG night. My 2 year old son has been so blessed with ears that just do NOT drain! We finished a round of antibotics on the 26th of December and now we are on another around! At his next appt (a recheck on his ears) I'm going to ask for a referral to an ENT! This is getting tiring, an ear infection every 4 to 5 weeks! *sigh* So, I didn't get much sleep last night either, as he was in my bed, just moaning and crying b/c his litlte ears hurt so much. My husband was not happy that he had to stay home for an hour this AM and get a sub, but our boy comes before teaching if you KWIM. By the time I got home he was cool w/ it though, realzing I wasn't joking when I said that he was on three meds!
So, my sleepy little boy isn't sleepy! I sure wish he was though, so I could get some lunch and some homework done. . .
Hoping tonight is a better night! |

I wish Tomas all the luck in the world with those ears. I was also blessed with non-draining ears. I have had 8 sets of ear tubes....only to have permament scar tissue damage...which leads to hearing loss. I read lips so i am able to get away without hearing aids, but did wear them thoughout high school yeas. I will pray for the little fellow.
