I asked my husband for a pink ipod for christmas. Specifically pink. My husband is color blind, but no big deal, he went to the store and had to ask a sales guy working there. He explained to him that he needed to buy a pink ipod and he is color blind and asked him to point out which one was pink. The worker gave him the ipod, he paid for it and left. He was very happy that he got the pink ipod that I wanted.
So I opened it this morning (today is christmas) and just as I opened it he sayed "and I got you the pink one just like you wanted!" I couldn't help but laugh. He got me a purple one and had no idea!!!
We assume the sales assosiate was color blind too... or just having a hard day and wanted to play a nasty trick on a color blind guy.
Not a big deal, I would keep it other than I hate purple, so I am going to exchange it when the stores open back up after the holidays.
But I have to give him credit, he's a great husband.
I love him dearly. |

update:
We went to the store the day the stores opened back up after christmas... we had to drive for 1 hour to get there!! and once we got there they said they weren't doing refunds/exchanges that day because it was too buisy due to the boxing day sale... so we drove all the way home, again 1 hour!
We drove back today, another long drive to the store... they had no ipods left to exchange for because of that damn boxing day sale, yet again we drove home.
So I'm stuck with my purple ipod because we aren't going to take another 1 hour drive to that store!
Whatever, the purple one works just as good as a pink on I guess!
